Soumisha Dauthel lives and works in Paris. Her technique involves a playful collaging of painted pieces and assembled in an abstract and intuitive way that leads to sophisticated compositions and a harmonious expression. The scale of her work ranges from small prints to large elaborate paintings that use positive and negative space in equal parts to highlight the space and relationship between configured shapes. Dauthel has been in multiple group and solo exhbitions, participated in many residencies, and is highlight of many articles and private collections. Her work is both captivating and joyous as colors and pure painting are featured amidst a masterful, collaging ensemble.
