José Luis de Miguel
(b.1977)
Zaragoza, Spain
José Luis de Miguel is an abstract painter who works fundamentally in acrylic on different supports such as linen, methacrylathe and stretched flexible PVC. An experimental approach to the formal elements of images (color, composition, light...) is the true subject of his work.
Compositional schemes based on the relationship of overlapped forms, together with the brushstrokes and the perceptual values that luminosity and transparency provide, give his paintings a symbolic value that in any case remains for the viewer to interpret.
He graduated in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and currently lives and works in Zaragoza, Spain. His work has been shown in many solo and group exhibitions and is in corporate and private collections in many countries.
